Nottingham Peer Support Group 

As part of our commitment to supporting disabled people our local Nottinghamshire team are looking to coordinate a number of User Led Peer Support Groups throughout the county. One such group is already well established in the Mansfield area.

The groups bring together like-minded people who may be using Direct Payments, Self Directed Support or Personal Budgets and who employ, or are considering employing, personal assistants. Such peer support provides an opportunity to discuss and share best practices regarding employing staff and being an employer and also gives an opportunity to discuss any other issues relating to being in receipt of care, in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.

The Application Form can be downloaded and saved on your computer. It has been tested and should perform correctly on the following types of computer/software:

Operating System: Windows XP Home Edition, Windows Vista

Browsers: Internet Explorer Versions 6, 7 and 8, Firefox Versions 3 and 4

Word processing software: MS Office 2003 and 2007. The document must be saved in Word 2003 format (.doc) or Rich Text Format (.rtf).
