There are various different training options for training courses for Direct Payments Recipients and their personal assistants (PAs).
Both Local Authorities will provide training, if requested, on various different training needs for PAs - for more information please follow the Local Authority links.
HM Revenue & Customs offer training on payroll for those wanting to do their own payroll for staff. Further information can be found on their website page http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/bst/advice-teams-area/central.htm.
http://www.panet.org.uk/ is a website that has comprehensive information for PAs and those who employ PAs, which includes training literature and courses.
