Direct Payments Recipients:
As a team we are able to provide one-to-one training with you to support you to understand your role as a Direct Payments recipient and if applicable as an employer. If further training is required and funding available we will support you to source external training locally were possible.
Personal Assistants:
Funding available to help train your Personal Assistants
Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership for Care (CWPC) support people who work in social care to:
• Access funding for training
• Understand how the Personalisation Agenda is shaping the services that they offer.
This year we would like to offer funding to people employing their own staff through direct payments to help train their Personal Assistants (PAs).
Workforce Development Funding (WDF) can be claimed through CWPC towards the costs of units of the Qualifications Credit Framework (QCF) such as:
• Dementia
• End Of life
• Leaning Disabilities
• Safeguarding
• Management
A full list of the units you can claim funding for is available on request.
Units are broken down into ‘credits' (bite size pieces of the full qualification) so PAs can take as little or as much of the qualifications as required.
If you are interested in claiming this funding to help train your PAs then please contact:
