The Rowan Organisation is pleased that our BSL DVD about Direct Payments is attracting very positive feedback. We were requested to make the video (entitled 'Direct Payments: An Introduction') by Staffordshire Social Services (which also part-funded the project). It was studio-produced by The Royal School for the Deaf, Derby which also supplied the signing (BSL) actors. The DVD, which lasts approximately 25 minutes is also sub-titled with full voice-over commentary.

The information is presented in a way that is accessible not only to deaf people, but also to many other individuals. It would serve as a good introduction to anyone interested in the opportunities that Direct Payments can offer.
