We have a team of locally based advisers who provide a support planning and brokerage service.
Our advisers will work in partnership with you to produce a support plan that meets your individual needs in a creative, efficient and cost effective manner.
We will explore different options available to you so that we can support you in putting your plan into action. A support plan describes what changes you want to make in your life and how you will use your personal budget to make them happen.
Your support plan can be in any format you choose, from a written document to easy read words and pictures. It is a living document that can be shared with others and updated as and when you choose.
We will work with you to support you to draw up your plan which will be person centred to meet the the flexibility and choices you make, give you the control, ownership and opportunities for you to live your life the way you want to. Your adviser will listen to you at all times to ensure your aims and goals are being met.
Brokerage works out how your support plan will be achieved practically and how you can access the support you need to become independent.
Drawing on their extensive skills, knowledge and experience, our brokers will work with you and listen to your needs at all times.

We also offer services that can be accessed from anywhere in the country and that work in close partnership with the local team to ensure you are provided with a seamless service. These include:
Based at our Head Office in Warwickshire, we have a team of skilled, professional payroll advisers. We can offer you a comprehensive Payroll Service that will register you as an employer, deal with all HMRC correspondence, calculate your PA's wages and statutory payments, and advise you how much to pay HMRC in tax and National Insurance Contributions.
Our Managed Account service can manage your Personal Budget or Direct Payments for you, while you remain in charge of the service you receive and the way they are delivered.
The range of payments we can make on your behalf includes agency invoices, PA wages, HMRC payments and Employers Liability Insurance, as well as any other payments agreed in your support plan.
We have different levels of support if you would like to recruit a Personal Assistant, including support from a local adviser in drawing up adverts and job descriptions, shortlisting and interview advice. We also offer a standalone Recrutiment Line, which you can use privately to advertise for a PA on our website. The Recruitment Line will receive all application forms on your behalf, thereby safeguarding your privacy while allowing you to retain choice over who you employ.
We offer a DBS checking service (formerly called CRB check) to request information about someone's past and thus fully check their suitability for employment. We can carry out an enhanced disclosure for you and provide you with a 'yes' or 'no' answer regarding their suitability.
Based at our Head Office, the National Information Service operates a telephone and email support line to assist you with matters relating to your Personal Budget, employing staff and related issues. We provide regular updates to our service users through our quarterly newsletter, our Facebook page and through this website. We can support you with a range of queries and are just a phone call away.
