Senior Payroll & Managed Accounts Administrator

We are a non-profit, user led charity and we are commissioned to deliver bespoke services across a number of areas in England and Wales. We provide people in receipt of Direct Payments or Personal Health budgets with the information and support they need, in order for them to become more independent and to become more in control of the decisions that affect their lives.

We are seeking an enthusiastic part office and part home based Senior Payroll & Managed Accounts Administrator who would like to join our team, working partly in our office in Old Arley, Coventry.

Job Type: Permanent

Location: Old Arley - Coventry

Salary: £21074 - £23111 per annum pay award pending

Hours of work: Full Time – 37 Hours

Senior Payroll/Managed Accounts Administrators will support with the operational management of the both our payroll and Managed Accounts services and the provision of payroll and Managed Accounts support to people in receipt of Direct Payments or Personal Health Budgets.

The successful candidate should be punctual, reliable, polite and patient with a keen eye to detail and will be confident when using IT systems.

The general duties & responsibilities of the Senior Payroll/Managed Accounts Administrator role include:

  • Telephone liaison with customers and outreach staff, verifying and recording messages through our CRM system and raising activities accordingly.
  • All aspects of payroll & managed account arrangements for the organisation including support to the department manager and SMG, in the day to day running of the department.
  • Ensure that information for individuals is presented in an accessible format that is specific to individual requirements.

Senior Payroll/Managed Accounts Administrators will:

  • Provide line management to a nominated staff group, ensuring accurate recording of all personnel functions including supervision and personal development.
  • Support the Payroll/ Managed Accounts team in the delivery of high quality services to all stakeholders.
  • Deputise in the absence of the department manager, with the support of the SMG.
  • Proactively lead team meetings ensuring full participation from all team members.
  • Monitor the performance of the payroll team in order to ensure compliance with all organisational policies and procedures, ensuring that any discrepancies are brought to the attention of the Department Manager, Finance Manager or SMG.
  • Address any disciplinary, capability and disciplinary procedures, within the team, as required.
  • Ensure that all training needs of the team are identified and sourced.
  • Produce and disseminate reports and statistics as required.
  • Provide an accurate payroll service using sage payroll to clients as required and maintain all relevant records.
  • Work in a collaborative manner with other staff members within The Rowan Organisation.
  • Contribute to the planning and development of the organisation`s work by attending meetings and working groups as required.
  • Positively promote and publicise the organisation and its services to all potential stakeholders.

    Admin Support Worker - Office Based in Old Arley (CV7)

    The Rowan Organisation is a leading Direct Payments, Personal Budgets and Personal Health Budgets support organisation.     Payroll/ Finance Admin Support Worker - Home Based in the Coventry Area

    Direct Payments Support Scheme
